3 steps to Gold Monetization

Monetizing gold requires the understanding and provability of three main features. The first being the verification of the asset and proving what it is and who owns it. Second is the proof of value. This will need to be done to the standard of the "funding party" or monetizing party. The final step is to determine and prove the location of the asset.


There can be many steps within each feature explained; however, without these three pieces of information, there is no way of moving forward with your goal.

01 Verification

Verifying proof of existence can be provided by professional attestations, reports, certifications, and/or face-to-face recording.

02 Value

Verifying proof of value can be easily done with current insurance, bonds, refinery reports, or similar documentation.

03 Location

Verifying proof of location will dictate the jurisdiction, taxes, business fees, government risks and more.

  • How much Value do I need?

    Much like any other type of financial strucuture, you will need to account for risk on behalf of the monetizer. 

  • Do I need an attorney?

    You should always seek legal advise when working with assets. You can always hire the right kind of attorney when needed as needed to accomplish your goals.

  • Can this be done internationally?

    If the asset is located in a country that is held to a legal standard that is equal to or greater than the U.S. then you should find it easier to accomplish your goal.

  • Can I put gold on trade?

    Technically, no. However, you can create value that can be placed on euroclear and then be used for trade candidacy.

  • How much can I make?

    This will depend on the value, the location and the ownership of the gold. Average gold trades depend on these factors not including taxes and delivery fees.

  • Is there risk?

    Just like any other type of financial commitment, there is a dgree of risk that can be perceived as low. If all parties are located in the same country however, you will greatly reduce those risks. 

  • Who monetizes Gold?

    Banks, trusts, private equity groups, private investment firms,  publicly traded companies, Private traded companies and others. 

  • How long does it take?

    The time it takes to complete a monetization deal depends on the demand brought by the monetizers and the availablity of funds on the market.
